Atlas 2 for Mathematica

System Requirements

  • - Cross-platform: Linux, Mac OS X, Windows
  • - Mathematica 8 or higher

Install Atlas Tool

Prepare

- Go to your DigiArea account and download Atlas 2 for Mathematica. Please review the system requirements carefully.
- Unzip the downloaded archive into the directory of your choice. Please do not rename the folder. It must be called "Atlas".

Installation Location

- Atlas can be installed in the directories specified by the Mathematica global variables $BaseDirectory and $UserBaseDirectory.
- If Atlas is installed in $BaseDirectory, the package is available to all users.
- If it is installed in $UserBaseDirectory, the package is available only to that user.

To find the locations, evaluate $BaseDirectory or $UserBaseDirectory in the Mathematica.

Install

- Atlas can be installed in the directories specified by the Mathematica global variables $BaseDirectory and $UserBaseDirectory.
- Copy the Atlas folder into the Applications or Autoload subdirectory of the $BaseDirectory or $UserBaseDirectory.
- Restart Mathematica.

Start Atlas

- Start Mathematica.
- To load Atlas package, use the << Atlas` command. The last character is a tick mark (`) and not an apostrophe (’). It is available on most keyboards underneath the tilde (˜).
- To open Atlas Documentation inside Mathematica, go to Help > Wolfram Documentation (or click F1) and type Atlas in the search field.

Open Atlas Palette

- Choose Palettes » Atlas Palette in the main menu.

Start AtlasWizard

- Load the GUIKit` package using the Needs["GUIKit`"]; command.
- Start AtlasWizard using the GUIRunModal["Atlas2D3DWizard"] command.
